Kontx has been supporting the start-up Eldico Scientific, a Swiss technology and service company, for three years. The start-up has developed the world’s first electron diffractometer, a novel method to support pharmaceutical development with new structural information. Kontx was asked in 2022 to support the opening of the first Experience Centre in Basel and the related commissioning of the first electron diffractometer with national and international PR work. 

Kontx recommended Eldico Scientific’s launch idea of a hybrid event and a 1:1 exchange with key media representatives. At the hybrid event,  media representatives were able to experience how the machine is operated by trained crystallographers and how samples from top-class pharmaceutical companies are analysed on site in Basel Selected media representatives also took part via video and were able to experience the functioning of the machine on screen with the help of a live presentation. They could also ask questions directly to the experts operating the machine.
