“INNOVATION WITH A DIFFERENCE!” – LAUNCH SUPPORT FOR AN INNOVATION PARK

In autumn 2015, the Park Innovaare office was opened next to the Paul Scherrer Institute. We were asked to create broad and clear awareness with the help of a launch media event.

SOLUTION

In order to market the commissioning as widely as possible to both the Swiss and international public, we organised an exclusive symposium and media event. Political representatives from the canton, from federal level as well as other hand-picked guests and journalists were invited. Based on the Park Innovaare, the success criteria of innovation promotion were discussed quite controversially. All relevant media from Aargau and German-speaking Switzerland were represented at the event. The successfull story of the Park Innovaare enabled us to create a credible storyline and to implement a sustainable public relations strategy in the following months.


IMPLEMENTATION
Period: 2016-2018

SYMPOSIUM AND MEDIA EVENT

  • Symposium with political representatives and experts, moderated by the former head of a leading think tank in Switzerland
  • Guests: Political representatives from both the canton andfederal level, personalities from Aargau, all key media from German-speaking Switzerland
RESULTS
  • Beforehand: double page spread in the Tages-Anzeiger
  • Afterwards: Coverage in all Aargau media
  • Subsequently: Article in the NZZ and in the Swiss Tagesschau
